Jagr Claims He Fully Paid Online Gambling Debt - 2003-03-13
Jaromir Jagr recognized Wednesday that he made mistakes when he lost $500,000 gambling through an Internet gambling site, but he claimed he paid the debt four years ago and did nothing criminal.

Jagr owed the money to William Caesar, head of the gambling Web site CaribSports, based in Belize.

Indebted gambler sentenced to probation - 2003-03-13
A Las Vegas man who failed to return millions of dollars in markers to Strip casinos was sentenced Tuesday in District Court.

The terms of Ben's probation prevent gambling of any kind. Mosley also ordered Ben to participate in Gambler's Anonymous, a support group for gambling addicts.
