Governor declines stadium-for-casino proposal - 2003-03-14
Gov. Ted Kulongoski on Wednesday declined a baseball stadium-for-casino proposition from the Conferederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde.

Spokeswoman Mary Ellen Glynn said Kulongoski was not prepared to make a decision on off-reservation gambling, so he was in no position to take the offer.

Ed McMahon joins new bingo game deal - 2003-03-14
Entertainer Ed McMahon will join in a new multimedia venture called BestBet Media Group Inc. that will include a partnership between McMahon's business subsidiaries and a bingo game offered by Multimedia Games Inc.

The company focuses on bingo gambling machines, in addition to video lottery terminals for tribal casinos nationwide.
