Lawmakers choose to extract nearly all of Rainy Day fund - 2003-03-23
The Nevada Legislature concurred Friday with the governor that, economically, it's raining cats and dogs.

They chose to drain everything minus $1 million from the so-called "rainy day fund" to allow the state to stay in the black through the end of the fiscal year.
