Hotel dismisses, then reappoints - 2003-03-24
The whole 270-member staff of the Renaissance Miami Biscayne Bay hotel north of downtown was fired Friday by one management company and then quickly reassigned their jobs by another.
Lead by David Buddemeyer, the 13-year-old hotel, resort and casino management and development firm focuses on under-performing properties. The company manages 14 properties in the United States and Bahamas. This will be its first in Miami.
