Casino’s admissions, earnings continue to drop - 2004-01-17
With the fiscal year half over, the St. Jo Frontier Casino is continuing a trend of declining admissions and earnings.

A six-month report from the Missouri Gaming Commission indicates that the Frontier Casino’s admissions have decreased 12 percent and revenue is off 8 percent in the period ending Dec. 31.

Education, casinos focal point of forum discussion at Capitol Connections - 2004-01-17
Members of the public attending a legislative forum Friday in Lawrence weren't timid about discussing Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' $304 million public education overhaul project that she disclosed earlier this week.

Locals also requested the representatives to elaborate on the likelihood the state would own and manage a casino.
