An unsuccessful performance from Stanley Leisure's casino industry looks prepared to weigh on Thursday's temporary results.
Its Crawfords casino in London makes up for 25 per cent of group earnings and from time to time finds itself trying to recover from a nasty loss when one of its high rolling customers strikes it lucky.

Downtown Las Vegas Casino Sale to Harrah's Is Progressing - 2004-01-19
Becky Binion Behnen and Harrah's Entertainment Friday were "making substantial progress" cooperating on a final agreement to sell the historic downtown hotel-casino, a lawyer for Behnen reported Friday.
Harrah's spokesman Gary Thompson confirmed that at least one company executive who has been associated in the discussions spent part of Friday at the Horseshoe.
