Alaska lawmakers consider big casino - 2004-01-20
Yet again, talk is spreading among lawmakers in Juneau to bring a huge casino to Anchorage.
The Alaska Department of Revenue has estimated that video poker machines could produce as much as $80 million to fund state government.

Poker champ and furrier Perry Green is receiving credit for the idea, as reported by the Anchorage Daily News. He wants the casino integrated at the site of the former Alaska Seafood International plant.
