Gambling Bill schedule is ‘all speculation’ - 2004-01-28
Tom Kavanagh, Secretary of The Gaming Board for Great Britain, has once again emphasized that any schedule for the complete integration of the UK Gambling Bill is “all speculation.”

Rendell proposes his third slot-machine agenda - 2004-01-28
Gov. Ed Rendell revealed a new slot-machine gambling plan yesterday that he feels can pass the Legislature, provide property tax relief and raise $1 billion for public schools.

Fumo, who insists it would be better to invite limited Indian gaming on the state's terms than to risk legal battles that could lead to untaxed casinos competing directly with the state-sanctioned facilities, issued a statement that no intention of withdrawing his Indian provision.
