All those days of perfect attendance last quarter were successful in a huge way Thursday for Robert Tadlock, a janitor at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel.

He was given a check for $20,000 at the casino's employee awards event.

The big money on Thursday was not on the casino floor. In addition to Tadlock's prize, the company granted $250,000 to its employees for enhanced service and exceeding goals in customer satisfaction.

Casino force stroke victim to leave - 2004-01-29
A stroke victim was forced to leave a Territory casino because bouncers believed that she was drunk.
But the woman declared yesterday she had consumed one beer and her medical condition had made her appear intoxicated.

Registered Nurse Catherine Kemp, 47, felt "humiliated, denigrated and discriminated against" following the incident at Lasseters Hotel and Casino in Alice Springs.
