King George County local Joe Buttran strolled down the parking lot, onto the deck of Tim's II at Fairview restaurant. In this move, he stepped out of Virginia and into Maryland, where keno is legal.
Tim's II has made keno available since Jan. 13. It's able to because it's in Maryland. Though its parking lot is in Virginia, the restaurant was constructed over the Potomac River, Maryland water, just as Colonial Beach's Riverboat was.
