Several provincial and town police officials are expected to be affected by another revision the Philippine National Police is planning to install in the next few days, PNP spokesman Senior Superintendent Joel Goltiao said yesterday.

Goltiao said higher officials are now evaluating the performance of police officials in the implementation of the government’s anti-illegal gambling campaign and several key police officials in the provincial and municipal levels will be affected.

Britney Spears tied the knot with a childhood friend from Louisiana, according to two US news reports.

The 22-year-old married Jason Allen Alexander early on Saturday at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, according to People.com, the online arm of the Time Warner publication.

People.com reported that the couple called at a club in the gambling mecca's Palms Casino Hotel before going to the Little White Wedding Chapel.
