Philippine Tribes Oppose Casino Plan - 2004-01-05
As reported by the Baguio Sun Star: "Indigenous people from the boundaries of Ilocos and Cordillera regions teamed up with the local church sector in opposing the planned casino in Camp John Hay.

"The Bago Cultural Society Inc., composed of village mates of Baguio Rep. Mauricio Domogan, said the City Council's endorsement of the casino was 'undue and improper', even though Domogan admitted that the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) is authorized to operate a casino in the country.
