Man arrested on running gambling ring - 2004-01-06
An Oakton man convicted with creating a gambling operation in 1999 was arrested and charged with the same crime last week after a police informant uncovered an underground sports gambling ring, according to a search warrant affidavit filed Monday.

Robert Reed, 67, of the 2800 block of Jermantown Road, was arrested at his home the night of Dec. 30 by Fairfax County police and charged with conducting a gambling operation and money laundering.
