Canterbury racino proposal alive again - 2004-01-06
The proposal of building a casino at Canterbury Park has new life. "It's still very much alive," said Canterbury Park president and CEO Randy Sampson. "We have a bill that passed the House last year. That status has not changed.

This time, the plan for a so-called racino could help the Minnesota Vikings in their bid for a new stadium. Sampson said money from Canterbury could be used to make the site an attractive location for the football team.

Prescription Coverage Glitch Worries Some Casino Workers - 2004-01-06
Some Mohegan Sun employees have been denied insurance coverage for prescription medicine since the first of the year due to a computer glitch, according to casino officials.

Employees should be receiving their new insurance cards within a few days and will be reimbursed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield for out-of-pocket expenses beyond their co-payment. Most employees apparently did not receive their new insurance cards, which were effective Jan. 1.
