Another Iowa County Turns Down Riverboat Gambling - 2004-01-08
You can include another county in Iowa to the list that have said "no" to riverboat gambling. Voters in Sac County turned down a bid to bring a boat to their area. Sac joins Linn, Clay, Dickinson, and Cerro Gordo Counties in voting down gambling.

Black Hawk, Wapello, Worth, and Palo Alto have all approved gambling. Gambling will be a hot topic when the Iowa legislature convenes next week.
