Pataki Refuses To Convene To Discuss Casino - 2004-01-09
That's the message Gov. George Pataki has seemed to send the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma, which is attempting to construct a $25 million bingo hall in Aurelius.

In mid-November, LeRoy Howard, chief of the Seneca-Cayugas, requested to meet with the governor to start negotiations for opening a Class III casino, possibly in the Catskills, to settle its share of the Cayuga Indian land claim.

It's a 'B' note for American Casino & Entertainment - 2004-01-09
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services handed out its 'B' rating to the proposed $200 million senior secured notes due 2012 to be issued both by American Casino & Entertainment Properties LLC (ACEP) and its wholly owned subsidiary American Casino & Entertainment Properties Finance Corp.

Simultaneously, a 'B' corporate credit rating was given to ACEP. Pro forma for the transaction, Las Vegas-headquartered casino owner and operator will possess $201 million in full consolidated debt outstanding.
