Internet casino provider gets big bolster from $500k investment - 2004-02-10
Following Chimera Technology’s publicized message that the company has acquired an additional private placement equity financing of $500,000, analysts at Wall Street News are betting that Chimera is a hot company worth keeping an eye on.

Chimera, a Nevada-based gambling software supplier, develops and offers online bingo, casino, sports book, Internet casino games suite and pari-mutuel sports books gambling platform services.

BIA "out of control, lawless" insists Connecticut attorney general - 2004-02-10
Opponents of casino gambling in Connecticut pledged Monday to look for federal legislation that would check the role of lobbying in Washington by Indian tribes wanting recognition.

At a forum in Danbury, state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and Jeff Benedict, president of the Connecticut Alliance Against Casino Expansion, arranged a forum requestin a congressional probe into the "influence of wealthy gaming interests" on tribal acknowledgement.
