Clark Co. postpones casino ruling - 2004-02-11
A proposed casino is on the minds of Clark County commissioners.
The commissioners heard people praise and scrutinize a deal between the county and the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.

Commissioners postponed a ruling on the deal until next week but made one thing clear: Further delays are not a choice.
The agreement took about two years to draft. It will commence if the tribe constructs a casino on 152 acres it owns on the west side of La Center Junction.
