Police officers are cautioning locals in Yeovil and around the vicinity to be extremely careful when they visit a cash point.

A number of people in Yeovil have currently fallen victim to a card cloning scam being run through cash machines in the region.

A device is put into the card slot in the cash point machine and reads the elements of the cards prior to returning it.

Legislators examine use of video 'slot' games - 2004-02-12
Iowa legislators, shocked at the quick growth of video games that appear similar to slot machines in convenience stores and gas stations across the state, are taking steps to place added restrictions on the devices.

"They have all the appearances of a video slot machine," stated Rep. Scott Raecker, an Urbandale Republican. "I think we're going to see a much greater limiting of these machines."
