Affair of the Heart Casino celebration scheduled for Feb. 14 - 2004-02-07
The Roswell Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. is endorsing its Affair of the Heart Casino Gala at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Westin Atlanta North Hotel.

The affair will include WAMJ Classic Soul 102.5's morning show host Silas "SiMan Baby" Alexander as DJ and master of ceremonies. The acitivities include a meal, dancing, casino games and prizes.

Hot words hurl as casino vote gets closer - 2004-02-07
Allegation of dishonesty and coercing the voters are the most recent complaints from both sides of the casino conflict.

A pro-casino spokesperson alleges Mayor Dave Cieslewicz of going back on his word, and an anti-casino supporter says a pro-casino ad guarantees something that can't be delivered.

Things are getting hot.
